This January, 90210 will embark on a major same-sex storyline that will pair the show’s token lesbian, Gia, played by Rumer Willis, with another major (and heretofore straight) female character Jessica Lowndes. “This isn’t a fling,” insists executive producer Rebecca Sinclair. “We’re coming at this [relationship] from a genuine place and not going, ‘Let’s do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.’ This is a real aspect of teenager life that’s interesting… And there’s been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters.”

Casey Johnson, an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, has died .. TMZ has learned.
She died in L.A. We’re told the body was discovered this morning.
She was 30 years old. Her father is Woody Johnson — owner of the New York Jets.
Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila. We spoke with Tila a few minutes ago. She says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila’s house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey’s phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.
The cause of death is undetermined.
UPDATE: A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Johnson had been dead for several days before her body was discovered.
The L Word’s Mia Kirshner is returning to regular television. EW.com has just reported that the actress will become a recurring character on the CW’s Vampire Diaries. She will play Isobel, “the sweet-yet-dangerous wife of Matt Davis’ history teacher, Alaric,” who is played by Matt Davis. The actress will make her debut in the Jan. 21 episode.

In an intimate one-on-one discussion, Lady Gaga admits to being bi-sexual and the interview eventually segues into a conversation about whether Gaga has had sex with women.
The singer was taken off guard with the question and Barbara tells her she doesn’t have to answer if she doesn’t want to. However, in true Gaga form, she admits, “I’ve certainly had sexual relationships with women.”
Walters brings up “Poker Face” and Lady Gaga points out that the song is about being with a man while fantasizing about being with women, “I’m bluffin’ with my muffin. I’m not lying I’m just stunnin’ with my love-glue-gunning.”
